Detective Nickie Savage is put on the case, along with another detective who she shared a brief, and regrettable moment with. When a second call comes in, she knows times is running out and calls her famous artist boyfriend, Duncan Reed who has a special talent of his own that could help solve the case.
Quick story that leads into the first in the Nickie Savage series. I thought this was very good precursor for what looks to be a fantastic series.
